Cosmic Fives

I don’t know what the hell I wrote. I think it’s just the prolonged spells of sleeplessness and my lifelong fascination of death. Anyways here is something which may look like a poem

Cosmic Fives
—————-

Eternity
ended abruptly
five arm-lengths
before the last milestone

Singularity
multiplied many times over
five heartbeats
before the cosmic shutdown

Blackholes
glowed with neon light
during my fifth
voluntary lapse of reasoning

My enigma
was named a constellation
five winks
before I donated my eyes

My breaths
crashed into a space-time curve
five sneezes
before I closed my nostrils

My dreams
fled to safety
five moments
before my final journey

My reason
became the Milky Way
five feet
into the grave they dug.

The last 4 lines is too good in the poem, one thing if I may consider to be re-written is the phrase “Cosmic Shutdown”

    – first I thought “Eternity ended abruptly” should be changed, since its man’s false notion or stubborn character to whole heartedly and gracefully accept that he is not eternity, but the line brings out very well on how man thinks he is “eternity” and it has ended abruptly – very good

    – but the phrase “Cosmic Shutdown” might be misplaced here – since “man” should be portrayed as way too small compared to Cosmos, and Cosmos will be there – the ultimate goal is to become an Astral being from Human Being and from Astral being to Cosmic Being and merge into Cosmos.

    Please continue writing.

    Best regards – Srihari
